There exists a stigma in the society where LGBT people
still face discrimination in the society. However, they often face rejections
from their families. Despite many laws passed, they are still fighting to gain
equality and acceptance in society. As normal men and women have the right to
live with respect in society. Similarly, LGBT is also a part of society and
deserves to be respected with equal rights.
Faith Cheltenham is among the renowned personalities working for more
than the last 20 years to uplift thousands of people of the LGBT and bi-sexual
community. Cheltenham focuses to coordinate bisexual advocacy for the bisexual,
pansexual, and fluid communities in America. Thus, it won't be wrong to say till
the people don't get educated with their rights and their responsibilities,
they can’t achieve equality in society. So, educating citizens about their
rights should be considered of utmost importance to make people live freely
without hesitation.
Thus, educating society, Cheltenham as an activist
spoke at San Diego Comic-Con, the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force's
Creating Change Conference, UCLA, and Yale University in the year 1999 to
create awareness among the society. Thus, awaring people to support the LGBT
and bi-sexual community was the main focus. However, It makes them live
independently without any discrimination. So, when it comes to creating
awareness, the constant efforts have led to outreach to the LGBT and bi-sexual
community.
Also, when it comes to Cheltenham, a zeal for
continuing the services even in their spare time let him worked as a web/social
media producer. The clients include Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York,
Macmillan, and Scholastic. Additionally, regardless of race, religion,
orientation, or gender identity Cheltenham’s provided financial support to the
LGBTQ community.
Also, to enhance their development and well-being,
Cheltenham worked to broaden the gap in the society to identify their needs by
acknowledging solutions for them. Cheltenham thought that building and fostering
support to them is needed to increase collaboration, interaction, and
understanding because it is the only thing that can spur awareness to influence
the community’s lives.
Cheltenham says working for the community doesn’t
demonstrate that the LGBTQ community is better than others. As the agencies
don’t work to exhibit a bias regarding this, so, the inclusive approach towards
this is to encourage and treat everyone equally regardless of the knowledge of
sexuality, race, religion, or other characteristics. It is because it will
bolster the services with human decency. Thus, considering this, it should be
the responsibility of everyone to treat the people with equality to meet their
basic needs just for the sake of humanity.
Faith Cheltenham is a community activist working for the legal rights
of the LGBT community. Providing support to the community has created thousands
of opportunities for the people to bring out reformations in their livings. The
diligent work towards the improvement of the community has created many
possibilities so that they can live their lives freely. Cheltenham’s willpower
